Job fair Thursday at PJC-SS Center

April 30, 2008 - A job fair has been scheduled for Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Paris Junior College-Sulphur Springs Center, 1202 West Houston St.

The job fair is jointly sponsored by the Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce Workforce Development Committee and Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas.

Several employers are expected to be represented, including Morningstar Foods, Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc., Grocery Supply Company, Owens Country Sausages Inc., Hopkins County Memorial Hospital and local temporary agencies.

The job fair is open to people either looking for work or interested in changing jobs, including graduating high school seniors.

Prospective employees should bring a resum and be prepared to speak with company representatives about current job opportunities.
